I dunno, I thought Dumbledore was one of the better characters in the series. Always thought he got things done well...

Maybe I'm biased though.

It made for a good story sure, but there were a few things within his realm of control that he didn't do anything about.

Didn't Dumbledore take his position as headmaster BECAUSE he knew he was unfit in a high position of power like Minister of Magic? BECAUSE he'd had a part in planning a Nazi-like takeover of the Muggle world and knew he was un-trustworthy? Isn't it also why he was kind of blase about all his accomplishments, because he knew how flawed he really was?

I dunno, it's meant humorously so I suppose I shouldn't be taking it that seriously.

Flawed or not he did do more than a few things that put people in unnecessary danger.

But yes, it's just a joke, and shouldn't be taken seriously.
